CHRISTINE NIEBLAS It is with a profound sense of loss that we announce the sudden passing of Christine, at the age of 36 years, on Wednesday, July 31, 2002, at the St. Boniface General Hospital. She will be lovingly remembered by her partner Debra; stepdaughter Angela; mother Patricia; father Paul; brothers, David and Jimmy; sister Michael; as well as many other relatives and friends. Christine was born in Hawaii and came to Canada at the age of six. She was actively involved in many social committees and functions, was well known in the community, and will be best remembered for her gift of music. Although she suffered from increasing physical ailments, Christine refused to allow them to limit her. She remained a strong, inspirational woman who lived her life with great love, determination, and courage. Christines funeral service will be held on Monday, August 5 at 1:00 p.m. in the Assiniboine Park, in the Central Picnic Area located just west of the Pavillion off Pavillion Crescent (signs will be posted at the Corydon and Wellington Crescent entrances). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Christines memory to Quaggas Kitten Kaboodle and Stray Cat Rescue, 690 Elizabeth Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2J 1A4 or to the St. Boniface Hospital Research Foundation, 409 Tache Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6.
